Do you Plant Seed? Or do you try to reap where you do not sow? Many people of Faith, including the LIFE House, sees the Church heading toward making missionaries rather than mega church pew dwellers. Please understand, we are not against big churches. What we see is people planting themselves in a pew once a week rather than “Go into all the world…” planting good seed. And spoiler alert: You can do BOTH!
“But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves,” James 1:22.
Dear friend, we are meant to be seed planters looking for fertile ground. But even the most drought-ridden land can be sown! Think of it this way: How many times did you hear the Gospel before you accepted Christ? Once? Twice? Ten times? And don’t be fooled into believing that people get saved only at church.
Don’t let the church building fool you, we are the Church, each and every one of us. Let’s be the missionaries we were called to be, even right here in the 937.
“The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field, which indeed is the least of all the seeds; but when it is grown it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches.” Matthew 13:31-32
