We Need Restoration of the Gospel, not Unity of Religion.

We have MANY Facebook friends resulting from ministry, but mostly from our anti-abortion activism and prolife ministry. It has interested me how these two facets of our ministry has so many other facets, meaning that people come from all ‘religions’, but few are straight-from-the-Bible Christians or Churches.

The confusion is DEAFENING. We have a home study because of the spirit of religion inCbus Outreach the local church body. When religion or denominationalism is involved, it takes away or adds to the Bible. Every single time. There are no maybes here.

Religion: The spirit of religion covers so much. I come from a religion that I was born in to. I see the falsehoods quite clearly while many of my friends and peers see it as a ‘salvation’. Mary was NEVER without original sin. That is not in the Bible anywhere, I’ll just leave that there. I have happily traded this religion for the saving Grace of Jesus Christ. There is no ‘to do’ list in order to have Salvation: “v8 But what does it say? ‘The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): v9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. v10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation,” Romans 10:8-10. Actually, that also totally dispels Calvinism as well.

Law Keepers: I see professed Christians that are law keepers, not cross bearers. Saying Shalom and lighting menorahs and keeping the ‘sabbath’ has nothing to do with a Risen Christ. Since the Cross, Jesus is our Sabbath rest, we rest in what He did at the Cross, there is nothing else or it is simply not of God. If you keep the Law, then you have made the Cross without effect: “v22 For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom; v23 but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness, v24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. v25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men,” 1Cor 1:17-25.

  1. The Sabbath was a command given specifically to Israel
  2. The New Testament nowhere commands Christians to observe the Sabbath
  3. The Sabbath was a sign that pointed to something greater, a greater Covenant, a greater Rest.

Predestination: Others are plainly steeped in the cult of Calvinism. We are ALL predestined to know Christ, but most aren’t smart enough to call Him Savior. But that does not negate every person’s ability to CHOOSE Salvation: “v8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, v9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. v10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.,” Eph 2:8-10, [Rom 10:8-10].

DenominationalismTwo common denominators are at play here; 1) People would rather belong to a building and/or follow an entity rather than the roll called up yonder, and 2) People are steeped in the sin of utter pridefullness of believing they have the answer – a ‘new’ revelation’ – and the rest of us Bible believing nitwits do not and will fall straight into hell for being so ignorant.

I am not speaking of Protestantism. They are clearly in error. Evangelical denominations are quick to try and stand out above the other, puffed up and prideful. Still, they are not the answer. The Book of Acts clearly addresses Church ‘government’ and other abuses of denominationalism. There should be order, not hierarchy. No superintendents here: “v2 Then the twelve summoned the multitude of the disciples and said, “It is not desirable that we should leave the word of God and serve tables. v3 Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business; v4 but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word,” Acts 6:2-4.

Look, there are no flashing lights or skinny jeans here. Nor is there debates on Christmas trees and nativity scenes. It’s about Jesus and His Finished Work on the Cross. Period. Anything else is error: “v18 For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; v19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book,” Rev 22:18-19.

God Bless and Merry Christmas.

Best Christian ‘To DO’ List EVER

Ever think to yourself that even as a Christian, you’re stagnate and deplete? It happens to all of us. We pray as if someone is holding a gun to our heads, good LORD! So, while reading a bit about THAT day of the Lord, I remembered these things ‘To DO’. Think I’ll print these out and keep them where I can see them.

With our LIFE ministry, some days it’s hard when you don’t ‘see’ results. I suppose with all street and public ministry this is common. But God knows the results. So, until that triumphant day, we can be vigilant, prayerful and active!

Until the Day of the Lord:

16 Rejoice always,
17 Pray without ceasing,
18  In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
19 Do not quench the Spirit.
20 Do not despise prophecies.
21 Test all things; hold fast what is good.
22 Abstain from every form of evil. [1Thess 5:16-22]

The Prolife Cause of the Proverbs 31 Woman

The Bible says that we have to OPEN OUR MOUTH to plead the cause, and judge righteously. Too often Christians are accused of ‘judging’ even though the Bible says to do so, but do it righteously. Allowing someone to boast that the Bible says ‘judge not’ without a quick lesson on what Jesus ACTUALLY said, proves we need to get back in the Word and have an answer for them.

Prolife ministry is a ministry of engagement, not quiet or contemplative. OPEN your mouth and ENGAGE!!!

Read the Book of Acts and GET READY.

KEEPLIFELEGAL

Being a Proverbs 31 woman, or at least aspiring to be, has it’s responsibilities. So when women that are abortion-minded OR pro-‘choice’ [proaborts] and call themselves Christians or ‘religious’, remind them of what the Proverb actually says:

v8 Open your mouth for the speechless,
In the cause of all who are appointed to die.
v9 Open your mouth, judge righteously,

And plead the cause of the poor and needy.

1. Open your MOUTH [mentioned TWICE]
2. Judge RIGHTEOUSLY.

The word righteous is an adjective: 1) characterizedbyuprightnessormorality, 2) morally right or justifiable, 3) acting inan upright, moral way; virtuous. [dictionary.com]

And if you’re a Bible nerd like us, see the origins and meaning of judge and righteous/righteously in the Strong’s. You won’t find what proaborts – Christian or not – accuse us of. And that’s probably because they are not properly taught anything about…

A Path Well Chosen, A Measure of FAITH.

We are not unlike what the Word teaches, there is no middle ground. I used to be a fan of ‘life application’ preaching [teaching or?]. Used to be. While we can learn from testimonies of others who have victory, we are still walking a tight rope of using the world to appropriate what the Bible says rather than preaching Jesus.

LIFE House is the mission arm of KeepLifeLegal. LIFE House is a fellowship of people knowing abortion is a SIN, not some kind of character flaw. Murder is murder, God created EVERYTHING and EVERYONE, born and unborn [Jer 1:5]. We plead the blood over this evil rather than just walk past this horror every day. It’s not easy being only two blocks up from the gates of Hell. But here, God has us.

“v3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.
v4
For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function,
v5
so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.
v6
Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith;
v7
or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching;
v8
he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.” Romans 12:3-8 [NKJV]

Allow your measure of Faith to blossom, helping those who cannot speak for themselves or ever thank you. If we cannot have a heart for the unborn, then we are MOST miserable with the having the knowledge but not the Faith to extend the hand of Jesus.

We will be launching the teaching arm of LIFE House very soon on Facebook and Facebook Live.

See you on the sidewalk!

Prayer vs. Denial

Talk about the two complete opposites of the other! If you don’t pray, then are you denying Him? With God, there isn’t any gray area. You’re either all in or not.

How often do we deny Christ? If you don’t submit or pray or feel conviction over sin, then EVERY SINGLE DAY.

So what about prayer? Why do we lament it one way or the other? Isn’t prayer our main priority as Christians? Jesus made a way for every believer to go to the Throne of Grace, And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom…” – so then, why don’t we use this blood-bought gift?

Anyway, while on the sidewalk today, I opened my Bible to Matthew 26: 36-46, “The Prayer in the Garden.” Imagine if you can, the Son of God praying as His disciples fight off SLEEP? That’s hard to wrap your mind around! They were wooed by spirits that sought their very souls, much less an hour they should have been praying. We give the enemy a whole lot of credit when we think the small things don’t matter.

I know you’re asking, “What would Peter do?” Peter talked big talk, not that he lied, but he still needed to learn and grow as a Christ follower. He wanted it all so badly that he spoke sooner than he should have, Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you that this night, before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” Peter said to Him, “Even if I have to die with You, I will not deny You!” [Matthew 26:31-35].

As Jesus prayed in vs. 36-45, you can see how the closest to Him began to stumble, to allow the enemy his foothold. This is JESUS! Who in their right mind would fall asleep??? Well, by allowing someone other than the Holy Spirit to guide us, even the very elect will stumble and fail:

  • Our flesh is corruptible and appeals to familiar spirits, loves laziness and complacency
  • The Spirit wills us, woos us,  guides us, but never interferes with our ‘free will’.
  • We are spiritually asleep even in the final hours of the most crucial time of our lives.

Peter was literally and spiritually in denial; we say and do the dumbest stuff. And sometimes if seems like it just falls out of our mouths with the teeniest bit of effort:

  • After ‘sleeping’, Peter denied knowing Jesus
  • It took THREE denials for Peter to ‘weep bitterly’
  • Ultimately, it was Peter’s pride that was his undoing.

I’ll summarize this quickly: Peter claimed victory when he was not tested, Peter failed to ‘watch with Me’ and slept, Peter denied Him.

We are precariously close to denying Christ ALL THE TIME by denying Him in any situation.

Peter finally got the victory, he preached Christ crucified, and was a testimony to other believers. That’s pretty much the same thing every believer should do.

ELECTION 2016: A Mighty Mustard Seed of Faith.

Yes, I have to say it: O YE OF LITTLE FAITH. Why all the wishy washy? Didn’t the last Presidential election teach Christians anything at all? The Pew Research Center showed that half of all those that claimed to be protestant/evangelical voted for one of the most progressive liberals in history. What happened? And why did many Christians stay home?

Our faith ebbed, the nation choked, and we are headed in the same direction unless theLIFEHouse Church shows up and VOTES. Today’s average Christian has lost the one love that Jesus left with us, a ‘mustard seed’ faith: So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” Matthew 17:20-21.

Mustard seed faith, a way made for us is lying on the side of the road unused and ignored. Where were we weak?

As the pulpit goes, so goes the NATION. In this article regarding how Christians and denominations vote, it’s quite plain that the ‘Church’ has gone away from the Bible and instead toward social justice and liberal rhetoric. The Protestant Church leans toward the social justices to recruit and strengthen waning church attendance, using these so-called ‘social justices’ as a standard to what they really want – abortion on demand, gay marriage and rewriting the Bible to suit their vulgar agenda.

This is how Obama was elected in 2008 and 2012. But interestingly, in 2012 79% of Mormons voted for Romney and in this election cycle they are voting Democrat. Quite telling, isn’t it? Without Jesus, which Mormons are, there is only hope in ‘social justice’. So, in 2012, their faith was in another Mormon.

In a recent article, a Georgia Pastor was told to give up his sermon notes and even his Bible: “Walsh is a leading health expert who was previously appointed to President Obama’s Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDs, but the state’s Department of Public Health ended up rescinding his employment after it investigated his Christian views on marriage.”

Obviously, no Pastor or Minister or ANYONE should give up their religious freedom for any reason. Pastor Walsh failed to understand that you cannot serve God and a liberal government: “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon,” Matthew 6:24. This example should chill you to the bone. Every Christian, Church, Bible study, and fellowship is subject to this if we continue to allow liberal democrats to lead this nation.

There is much to learn from all of this and past election cycles. We are not electing a Pastor; even churches mess that one up. We are electing a person(s) who will strengthen our Constitution, the military, the Church. So, Go out into ALL the world, continue to pursue the afflicted and hopeless and voiceless.

So, where is YOUR faith?

Election Prayer Watch on the Hill

November 6th, the Sunday before the Presidential Election, we will host a Prayer Watch up here on the Hill. We believe that prayer does change things and people and the future. Every Christian should find a local Prayer Watch and if your church isn’t hosting one, ask them WHY.

This election may be our last chance to bring normalcy back to the land, to speak freely, worship freely, to have an opinion, and not protect only certain persons while the unborn die by the THOUSANDS every day.

If you are uncertain who to vote for, and I cannot imagine why, remember that the next President will appoint up to FOUR SUPREME COURT JUSTICES. Hillary made it crystal clear that she believes the Constitution needs some tweaking.

If the weather is great, we may meet on the sidewalk instead. If you have questions, let me know.

“Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore hear a word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me,” Ezekiel 3:17.

Rain or Shine

Whether the weather is wonderful or not, we go down the Hill for our weekly prayer meeting on the sidewalk on Wednesdays. Truly, it’s Church on the Sidewalk. We sing, we pray, we love and share testimonies. On the sidewalk, we are a community of believers who come for the same reason: Pray for the lives of the unborn and their parents.

Montgomery County has a high rate of abortion, not just residents but also those outside of the 937, about half. And the reason is horrific: Down the Hill, they will abort over 20 weeks.

Sooooooo please pray, pray with us, love them.

We will begin meeting at the LIFE House very soon! There we will study the Word of God and it’s timeliness for even today’s events and issues. So bring your Sword and let’s study!

For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?” 1Peter 4:17

That windy wind on the Hill

Good afternoon, friends! Nearly three weeks into October and it’s in the 70’s! It’s a great day to be alive! And it’s not so great a day for others down the Hill.

In Ohio, about 60 unborn babies will aborted TODAY. Can you wrap your mi12645132_10206983857969269_2880626206697636680_nnd around that? And down the Hill – just two blocks from the LIFE House, 2599 babies lost their lives to abortion last year. That’s almost 8 babies EVERY SINGLE DAY.

For the life of ME, I will never understand how other residents in this part of the city cannot sense the tension and distress and anguish and suffering in this blustery wind here on the Hill. Because on the sidewalk down the Hill, we witness lives being sacrificed for a promise of a better life…but for who?

There cannot be a better life without Jesus, without Salvation without a Promise of what is to come. Our Hope lies in Him, not legal child sacrifice.

Soon that day will come when the windy wind will drive the chaff away and leave a robust field of wheat ready for harvest. That is our hope, He is our Hope.

His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” Matthew 3:12

Here on the Hill

What is the 937? Dayton, Ohio. We can’t seem to leave this place; every time we do, God literally drags us back. Well, that’s fine. Dayton is a good place and it needs us, but it has problems. Since the 2008 election and several BAD mayors, this city went through a kind of depression that closed factories, shuttered businesses, and many people relocated to thriving markets. An entrepreneurial spirit was gone with it. The loss of Fortune 500 companies was nearly Dayton’s demise. And then came HEROIN.

Dayton tops Worst Cities List for heroin overdoses. WORST.

And with an area that is heavily heroin/drug addicted, comes poverty, crime, prostitution, prison, sometimes death. In these heroin addicted cities also comes a higher than ‘normal’ abortion rate. I say ‘normal’ even though abortion is never normal, but it is in cities like Dayton. Drug addicted pregnant women would rather kill their unborn child so they can continue to use. They have no hope, no love, no peace, no Jesus.

What this city is missing is a missionary spirit, one that will take the Gospel and immediate need to the people. That is what Jesus would DO. THIS is why we are the LIFE House. We preach Jesus.

We will meet for fellowship at the LIFE House to equip, encourage, and enact a spirit of missions here, RIGHT HERE, in the 937. Here on the Hill, we are studying the Word of God and spreading the message of Grace and Mercy with truth and love.

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15
